Organic Zanthoxylum

Organic Zanthoxylum essential oil, obtained from Zanthoxylum armatum, has a spicy, citrusy, vibrant and slightly peppery scent. It recalls Sichuan pepper, with sparkling freshness and original aromatic warmth.

Its profile is especially useful for energising natural compositions. It brings a lively, almost electric note between zest, spicy berry and aromatic wood, without the heaviness of warmer spices.

It blends with Ginger, Black Pepper, Lemon, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Vetiver, Patchouli or Lemon Verbena for modern, tonic and refined accords.
