Tonka in alcoholic solution makes the smooth profile of Dipteryx odorata easier to work with than the pure absolute. It retains the vanilla-like, almondy, cut hay and soft tobacco notes characteristic of Tonka bean.

This presentation is especially practical for perfumery trials, gourmand accords and ambery compositions. It offers easier diffusion while preserving a rounded base note.

It blends readily with Vanilla, Benzoin, citrus, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Rose or milky materials to add softness and depth.
