Organic Cypriol or Nagarmotha

Organic Cypriol essential oil, also known as Nagarmotha, is obtained from Cyperus scariosus. It has a woody, earthy, dry, smoky and slightly leathery scent, highly valued in natural perfumery for building powerful and long-lasting base notes.

Its olfactory character evokes roots, dark woods, oriental accords and amber-like materials. It brings depth, density and excellent tenacity to compositions while retaining a raw and authentic vegetal facet.

Cypriol blends with woody, resinous, spicy, opulent floral or citrus essential oils. It pairs well with Patchouli, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Vetiver, Bergamot, Ginger or Rose.
