Mastic Tree

Mastic Tree essential oil, obtained from Pistacia lentiscus L., has a green, resinous, woody and slightly balsamic scent. It evokes Mediterranean shrubs, the dry heat of the maquis and freshly crushed resin.

Its fragrance is both understated and highly distinctive: a deep vegetal note, less sweet than oriental resins but greener and more vibrant. This makes it a precious oil for structuring natural synergies with a Mediterranean character.

Traditionally used in aromatherapy, it is appreciated in comfort, lightness and targeted care routines, always in a diluted and appropriate formulation. It brings an impression of vegetal tone and aromatic grounding.

It pairs with Cypress, Cistus, Helichrysum, Juniper, Cedarwood or Lemon. In blends, it contributes an elegant, green resinous note with a deeply Mediterranean identity.
