Galbanum

Galbanum essential oil, also known as Gum Ferula, is obtained from a Ferula gum resin. It has a very distinctive olfactory signature: green, intense, resinous and almost raw-vegetal.

It stands out with a distinctive profile, making it easy to position within natural aromatic compositions.

Highly valued in natural perfumery, it provides a sharp green top note followed by a deeper balsamic base. It suits compositions that seek texture, naturalness and a sophisticated vegetal facet.

Galbanum blends with Cistus, Frankincense, Vetiver, Bergamot, Geranium, Patchouli and Cedarwood, forming green, chypre or resinous accords.
