Sumatran Benzoin Resinoid 50% Dpg

Sumatra Benzoin resinoid is obtained from Styrax benzoe. This raw material reveals a balsamic vanilla-like resinousand delicately sweet fragrance, highly appreciated in natural perfumery.

Diluted at 50% in DPG for easier use, it brings a soft warm and ambery base note to compositions. It helps round out blends, fix certain volatile notes and create a comforting olfactory impression.

Traditionally used in balms, perfumes and care preparations, Benzoin is appreciated for its enveloping and protective character. It can be used in preparations for dry skin or in warm olfactory accords.

It blends with woody resinous spicy floral or gourmand notes such as Vanilla, Patchouli, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Sweet Orange, Geranium or Ylang-ylang. It brings roundness, fixation and softness.
